Two friends, a common passion!
At the origin of La Brasserie du Cantou, there are two friends, lovers of Aubrac, who decided to change their lives to devote themselves to their passion: craft beer. Inspired by American breweries, they wanted to create a range of aromatic, authentic and modern beers. In our project, we highlight strong values: sharing, conviviality and respect for the terroir.
Aka: The druid
After 6 years as an engineer in aeronautics in Toulouse and 1 year of travel around the world, he decides to go train in Rouen to become an Artisan brewer and set up his brewery with his childhood friend.

After training as a sports educator and several years working as a territorial sports educator in Argences en Aubrac, he decided to leave his position and now showcase his territory not through sport, but through the third half!

A terroir that inspires and unites
Aubrac, for us, is much more than a place: it's a source of inspiration. With its preserved landscapes, its traditions and its authenticity, this plateau is at the heart of our approach. We chose to brew here to enhance this unique territory and create beers in its image: authentic, warm and close to people.

At the beginning of our adventure we chose crowdfunding to launch our brewery. Thanks to community support, we were able to: • Acquire quality brewing equipment. • Launch our first batches. • Bring together a real family around our project. Even today, we thank all the people who believed in us and made this dream possible. A wall pays tribute to them at the shop.
